  • ¾ cup milk (or plant-based milk)

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar until evenly combined.
  • Add the cold, cubed butter to the dry ingredients and incorporate until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Pour in the milk gradually, mixing gently until just combined. Avoid overmixing.
  • Turn the dough onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for about 1 minute.
  • Pat the dough into a rectangle about ½ inch thick or roll it out using a rolling pin.
  • Cut the dough into strips (about 1-2 inches wide) and roll each strip into a spiral shape to form the biscuit rolls.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 300°F (150°C).
  • Place the rolls in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd.
  • Air fry for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown on top and cooked through.
  • Remove the rolls from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

To keep the rolls fresh, store in an airtight container. Freeze for longer storage and reheat in the air fryer.
