Instructions

Preparation

  • In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried thyme, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  • Add the chicken thighs to the bowl, ensuring each piece is coated evenly with the seasoning mix.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the chicken thighs in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Do not overcrowd; you may need to work in batches.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through and checking for doneness (internal temperature should reach at least 165°F (75°C)).
  • Once cooked, remove the chicken thighs from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
  • Sprinkle fresh parsley on top before serving.

Notes

For best results, marinate chicken for at least 30 minutes prior to cooking. Allow the chicken to rest after cooking to retain juices. Experiment with different seasoning blends for varied flavors.
