Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound Brussels sprouts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Optional Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar Optional
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese Optional

Instructions

Preparation

  • Rinse the Brussels sprouts under cold water and remove any damaged outer leaves. Trim the ends and cut the sprouts in half for even cooking.
  • In a large bowl, combine the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss everything until the sprouts are evenly coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned Brussels sprouts in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are arranged in a single layer.
  • Cook the Brussels sprouts in the air fryer for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • If using balsamic vinegar, drizzle over the sprouts when done cooking and toss gently.
  • For added flavor, sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the sprouts during the last 2 minutes of cooking.

Serving

  • Carefully remove the Brussels sprouts from the air fryer. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For crispy sprouts, dry them thoroughly after washing and avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket.
