Instructions

Preparation

  • Wash and cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets. Ensure all pieces are roughly the same size for even cooking.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until you get a smooth batter.
  • Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, allowing any excess batter to drip off.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the battered florets in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they are golden brown and crispy.
  • While the cauliflower is cooking, mix the buffalo sauce with melted butter in a large bowl.
  • Once the cauliflower is done, carefully toss it in the buffalo sauce mixture until well-coated.
  • Return the coated florets to the air fryer and cook for an additional 5-7 minutes for extra flavor and crispiness.
  • Remove from the air fryer and serve hot.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider sprinkling breadcrumbs over the batter. Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
