Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef Use 80/20 for best flavor and moisture.
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Cheddar cheese slices (optional) Add during the last minute of cooking.
  • burger buns Toast for extra crunch.
  • your favorite toppings (lettuce, tomato, onion, etc.) Customize to taste.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper thoroughly.
  • Shape the mixture into patties about ¾ inch thick.

Cooking

  • Lightly grease the air fryer basket and place the patties inside without touching.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  • Add cheddar cheese slices during the last minute of cooking.
  • Toast the burger buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes after the burgers are done.

Assembly

  • Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on a bun and adding toppings.

Notes

For best results, chill the patties for 30 minutes before cooking to enhance texture. Don’t overcrowd the basket and check for doneness with a thermometer.
