Preparation

  • Peel the carrots and cut them into fry-shaped sticks, about 1/4 inch thick.
  • In a large bowl, combine the carrot sticks with olive oil, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and optional cayenne pepper. Toss until well coated.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Arrange the carrot fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
  • Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove the fries and let them cool for a few minutes before garnishing with fresh parsley, if desired.
