  • as needed Cooking spray For air frying

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Rinse the cauliflower and cut it into bite-sized florets, removing any excess stem.
  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, water, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until smooth.
  • Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, ensuring they are well coated. Shake off any excess batter.

Cooking

  • Arrange the coated florets in the air fryer basket, ensuring they have space between them for optimal cooking.
  • Lightly spray the florets with cooking spray to help them crisp up.
  • Air fry for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until they turn golden brown and crispy.
  • In a separate bowl, toss the cooked cauliflower wings with your favorite hot sauce, adjusting to your heat preference.
  • Return the sauced cauliflower wings to the air fryer for an additional 2-3 minutes to help the sauce set.

Notes

For best results, dry the cauliflower thoroughly after washing to avoid steaming. You can use almond flour for a lighter batter and experiment with spice blends.
