Ingredients
  

For the Chicken

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (preferably Italian-style for extra flavor)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • as needed Olive oil spray

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a medium-sized bowl, mix together the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • Dip each chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to ensure adherence.
  • Lightly spray each breaded chicken breast with olive oil.
  • Arrange the chicken breasts in the air fryer basket, ensuring they have space for air circulation.

Cooking

  • Set the timer for 10-12 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through.
  • Once cooked to golden brown and internal temperature is 165°F (75°C), remove from the air fryer.
  • Top each breast with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese.
  • Return to the air fryer for an additional 3-5 minutes, or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!
