Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.
  • Place the chicken tenders in the bowl and toss them in the marinade until they are evenly coated.
  • Arrange the chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket, ensuring they do not overlap for even cooking.

Cooking

  • Cook the tenders for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through. Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  • Once done, remove the chicken tenders from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

For serving, consider pairing with sides like coleslaw, steamed vegetables, or salad. Dipping sauces such as honey mustard or BBQ can enhance the dish. For storage, let tenders cool, then keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
