Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Rinse the chicken thighs under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper. Stir until they form a paste.
  • Coat the chicken thighs thoroughly with the seasoning mixture.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned chicken thighs in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
  • Cook for about 25 to 30 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Check for doneness with a meat thermometer; internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
  • Let the chicken rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
