Cinnamon Roll Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated cinnamon roll dough Use your favorite brand.
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted For brushing on the dough.
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar Packed.
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon Adjust to taste for more flavor.
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar For the icing.
  • 1 tablespoon milk Add more for desired icing consistency.
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract Enhances flavor of the icing.

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Open the can of cinnamon roll dough and remove the rolls. Set aside the icing that comes with them.
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, brown sugar, and ground cinnamon to create a cinnamon filling.
  • Roll out each cinnamon roll on a flat surface, flattening it slightly.
  • Spread a layer of the cinnamon filling evenly over each roll.
  • Roll each piece of dough back up tightly so the filling is inside.
  • Cut each roll in half to create smaller cinnamon rolls that fit well in the air fryer basket.
  • Place the cinnamon rolls in the air fryer basket, ensuring they are not touching each other.

Cooking

  • Cook for about 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  • While the rolls are cooking, prepare the icing by mixing the powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Once the rolls are done, drizzle the icing over each warm roll before serving.

Notes

Enjoy warm with coffee or smoothies. Customize by adding fresh fruit or setting up a toppings station.
