Ingredients

Garlic Butter Mixture

  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried parsley)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Bread

  • 1 loaf French bread or Italian bread

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. If using Parmesan cheese, add it at this stage.
  • Slice the loaf of bread in half horizontally. Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of each bread half.

Cooking

  • Place one half of the bread in the air fryer basket, cut side up. Air fry for 5 to 7 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • Carefully remove the first half and place the second half in the air fryer basket. Repeat the cooking time.

Serving

  • Allow both halves to cool for a minute before slicing into individual pieces.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality bread. Adjust garlic to taste and consider adding more for a bolder flavor. Keep an eye on the cooking time to avoid burning.
