  • 10 large large jalapenos Select firm, bright green jalapenos for best flavor.
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing.
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite blend) Variations in cheese can introduce different flavors.
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs Consider using panko or crushed tortilla chips for variety.

Seasonings

  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

For Greasing

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C).
  • Slice each jalapeno in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes for a milder flavor.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Fill each jalapeno half with the cheese mixture.
  • Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top if desired.

Cooking

  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  • Place the jalapeno poppers in the basket in a single layer.
  • Cook for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and breadcrumbs are golden brown.
  • Carefully remove the poppers and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve with various dipping sauces such as ranch, sour cream, or salsa. They are perfect for parties or movie nights.
