Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh mushrooms (button or cremini)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Clean the mushrooms thoroughly by rinsing them under cold water and patting them dry with a clean towel. Trim the stems if desired.
  • In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix well.
  • Add the cleaned mushrooms to the bowl and toss gently to coat evenly with the seasoning mixture.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Place the mushrooms in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
  • Cook the mushrooms for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking until golden brown and crispy.
  • Remove the mushrooms from the air fryer and sprinkle with fresh parsley if using. Serve warm.

Notes

For best results, use fresh and firm mushrooms. Cut larger mushrooms for even cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days in the refrigerator, or freeze for up to 2 months. Reheat in the air fryer.
