  • 2 pieces ripe peaches Choose ripe but firm peaches.
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar Can be replaced with maple syrup for a twist.
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon Feel free to experiment with other spices.
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or coconut oil Either works well for flavor.

Preparation

  • Start by washing the peaches thoroughly. Pat them dry with a clean towel.
  • Cut each peach in half and remove the pit.
  • In a small bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, melted butter (or coconut oil), and salt until well combined.
  • Brush the mixture generously over the cut sides of the peaches.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  • Place the peaches cut-side up in the air fryer basket in a single layer and not overcrowded.
  • Cook the peaches for 8-10 minutes, or until they are tender and caramelized.
  • Carefully remove the peaches from the air fryer and serve them warm.

Notes

Peaches can be served warm or allowed to cool slightly. They pair well with ice cream, yogurt, or pancakes. For storage, let them cool completely, place them in an airtight container with parchment paper between them, and store in the fridge for 3-5 days. For longer storage, freeze sliced peaches for up to 6 months.
