Ingredients
  

For the Salmon

  • 2 fillets salmon fillets (6 oz each) Fresh salmon is preferred for the best flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for spice) Adjust according to taste.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Fresh lemon juice enhances the flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  • Rub this mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
  • Drizzle lemon juice over the seasoned fillets.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 3 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the air fryer basket without overcrowding.
  • Air fry the salmon for 8 to 10 minutes or until it flakes easily with a fork.

Serving

  • Garnish the cooked salmon with fresh parsley.
  • Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

To store leftover salmon, cool to room temperature, wrap or place in an airtight container, and refrigerate for up to 3 days. For longer storage, freeze for up to 2 months.
