Preparation

  • Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly to remove any dirt. Peel them if desired.
  • Slice the sweet potatoes into thin, even rounds—about 1/8-inch thick.
  • In a mixing bowl, toss the sweet potato slices with olive oil, sea salt, and any additional seasonings you prefer.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Spread the sweet potato slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, avoiding overcrowding.
  • Cook the chips in the air fryer for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Once they look golden brown and crispy, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.

Notes
