  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil Or olive oil cooking spray
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground black pepper

Preparation

  • Wash and peel the sweet potatoes, then cut them into even 1/2 to 3/4 inch cubes.

Coating

  • Place the cubed sweet potatoes in a mixing bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Toss to coat.
  • Add paprika, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper, continuing to toss until all cubes are evenly seasoned.

Cooking

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
  • Add the seasoned sweet potato cubes in a single layer without overcrowding.
  • Cook for 14 to 17 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Let them rest in the air fryer for 3 to 5 minutes after cooking for maximum crispiness.

Serving

  • Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs or with your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

For best results, cut sweet potatoes uniformly, avoid overcrowding, and experiment with spices. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
