For the Fries

  • 2 medium sweet potatoes Peeled and cut into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For tossing the sweet potatoes
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon paprika For seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper For seasoning

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into uniform thin strips, around ¼ inch thick.
  • In a large mixing bowl, toss the sweet potato strips with olive oil until well-coated.
  • Sprinkle sea salt, paprika, and black pepper over the sweet potatoes and mix thoroughly.
  • Spread the seasoned sweet potato strips in a single layer in the air fryer basket, cooking in batches if needed.

Cooking

  • Cook the fries for about 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
  • Once golden brown and crispy, remove the fries from the air fryer and let them cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve hot with dipping sauces like ranch, spicy ketchup, or creamy avocado dip. Great as a side dish with grilled chicken or burgers. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and reheat in the air fryer.
