Ingredients
  

For the salmon

  • 4 pieces salmon fillets (5–6 ounces each) Use fresh fillets for best flavor
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter For drizzling over fillets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds flavor to the cheese mixture
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed for better flavor
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest Enhances the lemon flavor
  • to taste salt and black pepper For seasoning the salmon
  • Fresh parsley for garnish To enhance presentation

For the cheese mixture

  • 1 round Boursin cheese (5.2 oz), garlic & fine herbs Creamy cheese topping

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
  • In a medium-sized mixing bowl, blend the Boursin cheese, minced garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and half of the olive oil until smooth.
  • Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel. Drizzle remaining olive oil over the top and season with salt and pepper.
  • Place the salmon skin-side down in the prepared baking dish and spread the Boursin mixture over each fillet.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 15 to 20 minutes until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145°F.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Make sure not to overbake the salmon to retain its moisture. Use a meat thermometer for best results.
