  • 2 cups marinara sauce Feel free to experiment with Alfredo sauce or pesto.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese For a bubbling crust.
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese Adds flavor and richness.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil For browning the ravioli.
  • Fresh basil to taste for garnish Optional for added flavor and presentation.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the cheese ravioli and cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly browned.
  • Pour marinara sauce over the ravioli, coating each piece well.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella and grated parmesan cheese on top.

Baking

  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before serving.
  • Garnish with fresh basil if desired.

Notes

For added flavor, lightly brown some garlic in the olive oil before adding the ravioli, and consider mixing in sautéed vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for variation.
