Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a medium bowl, combine the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir until smooth.
  • Toss the chicken breast pieces in the sauce to coat thoroughly.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  • Lay the coated chicken pieces in a single layer in the basket.

Cooking

  • Cook the chicken in the air fryer for 10 to 12 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  • Ensure the chicken is golden brown and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Let the chicken rest for a minute before serving.

Serving

  • Serve the crispy chicken over a bed of cooked white rice.
  • Consider adding steamed vegetables or garnishing with green onions or sesame seeds.
  • Offer extra sauce on the side for dipping.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate chicken in the sauce for 30 minutes prior to cooking. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, or freeze for up to three months.
