  • Drizzle some extra virgin olive oil on the griddle to ensure a non-stick surface.
  • Pat the chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
  • Season both sides of the chicken with salt, pepper, and dried Italian herbs.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned chicken breasts on the preheated griddle and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden crust forms.
  • Check that the internal temperature reaches 165°F for optimal safety.
  • Reduce heat slightly and add the minced garlic to the griddle, sauté for 1-2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over each chicken breast and cover with a lid or aluminum foil to melt the cheese for about 2-3 minutes.
