  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 3 large eggs Room temperature
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened Room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups diced apples (about 2 medium apples) Choose apples like Granny Smith or Honeycrisp

Glaze (Optional)

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1–2 teaspoons milk Add to achieve a smooth glaze

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease the bundt pan and dust it with flour.
  • In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with the brown sugar and granulated sugar using an electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and ground cinnamon.
  • Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, alternating with the diced apples until fully combined.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan, spreading it evenly.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50 to 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

Cooling & Glazing

  • Remove the bundt cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Then flip it onto a wire rack to cool completely.
  • For the glaze, mix powdered sugar, brown sugar, and enough milk to achieve a smooth consistency. Drizzle over the cooled cake.

Notes

Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container for up to 3 days or frozen for longer storage.
