  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup blue cheese (optional) Can be omitted based on preference.
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions For garnish.
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken with the buffalo sauce and stir until the chicken is thoroughly coated.
  • Add in the softened cream cheese and garlic powder, mixing until you achieve a smooth, creamy consistency.
  • Fold in half of the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and spread it out evenly.
  • Top with the remaining cheddar and mozzarella cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • After baking, sprinkle blue cheese and chopped green onions on top.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

Serve with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or warm bread for a delightful experience. This dish can also be made ahead of time and stored in the refrigerator until ready to bake.
