Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Season the salmon fillets with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper, rubbing the seasoning into the fish.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Sear the salmon fillets skin-side down for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  • In a separate saucepan, melt the butter over low heat and stir in honey until well mixed.
  • Spoon the honey butter mixture over each salmon fillet.
  • Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon easily flakes with a fork.

Serving

  • Let the salmon rest for a minute after removing from the oven.
  • Serve the salmon hot with lemon wedges and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Consider pairing the salmon with fluffy rice or creamy mashed potatoes. A squeeze of fresh lemon juice enhances the dish.
