Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking dish.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs and melted butter, then press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  • Stir in vanilla extract, followed by diced apples, cinnamon, and nutmeg until just combined.
  • Pour the filling over the crust, spread evenly, and drizzle caramel sauce on top. Swirl with a knife or toothpick.

Baking

  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until the center is set.
  • Allow the bars to cool completely before refrigerating for at least 2 hours before slicing.

Serving Suggestions
