Ingredients
  

Pasta and Sauce

  • 8 pieces lasagna noodles (cooked al dente, drained, and laid flat)
  • 3 cups Alfredo sauce (homemade or store-bought)

Filling

  • 2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese (grated, divided)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt & black pepper

Garnish

  • to taste fresh parsley (chopped) For garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked chicken, ricotta cheese, ½ cup of Parmesan cheese, ½ cup of mozzarella cheese, egg, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until well combined.
  • Lay out each cooked noodle and spread 2 to 3 tablespoons of the filling along each noodle.
  • Roll each noodle tightly from one end to the other.

Baking

  • Pour 1 cup of Alfredo sauce into a greased 9x13 baking dish.
  • Place the rolled noodles seam-side down in the baking dish.
  • Pour the remaining Alfredo sauce evenly over the lasagna rolls.
  • Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese on top.
  • Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

To ensure perfect rolls, use fresh ingredients, cook noodles al dente, and allow it to rest before serving. Customize the filling with veggies or different proteins as desired.
