Instructions
Preparation
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine Alfredo sauce, heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, and salt and pepper. Stir until mixed well.
- Add the shredded chicken to the bowl and blend until entirely coated with the sauce.
- Pour the chicken Alfredo mixture into the prepared baking dish and smooth it out.
- Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the chicken mixture.
- Arrange the frozen tater tots in a layer on top of the cheese.
- Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese and grated Parmesan cheese over the tater tots.
Cooking
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden and crispy.
- Let the casserole cool for a few moments before serving. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.
Notes
Feel free to add vegetables like broccoli or bell peppers for added nutrition. For a crunchier topping, place under the broiler for the last two minutes of baking.
