  • 2 pieces grilled chicken breasts sliced into strips
  • 1 piece ripe avocado mashed and seasoned
  • 1 cup shredded cheese cheddar or Mexican blend for flavor
  • 1/2 cup ranch dressing
  • 4 large tortillas tortillas for wrapping
  • to taste salt and pepper for seasoning

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start by grilling the chicken breasts until they are fully cooked, about 6-7 minutes on each side over medium-high heat. Remove and slice into strips.
  • Mash the ripe avocado in a bowl until smooth, then season with salt and pepper. Optionally, add a little lime juice.

Assembly

  • Lay a tortilla flat on a clean surface and spread a generous layer of mashed avocado over it.
  • Place a portion of grilled chicken strips on top of the avocado, then sprinkle with shredded cheese and drizzle ranch dressing.
  • Add optional toppings such as lettuce, diced tomatoes, or jalapeños.
  • Roll the burrito tightly to enclose the fillings. Make sure it's snug but not too tight.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the burritos seam side down in the skillet. Grill each side for about 2-3 minutes until golden and crispy.

Serving

  • Serve the burritos warm with extra ranch dressing or your favorite dipping sauces.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days. Reheat in a skillet for a crispy exterior.
