  • 1 cup ham, sliced

  • 1 piece pizza dough Store-bought or homemade.
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard For zesty flavor.
  • 1 tbsp olive oil For brushing on top.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season according to preference.
  • 1 piece egg For egg wash on top.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • On a clean, floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into a rectangle of about ¼ inch thickness.
  • Spread the Dijon mustard evenly over the surface of the rolled-out dough.
  • Layer the shredded chicken, sliced ham, and shredded Swiss cheese on top of the mustard.
  • Sprinkle salt and pepper over the layers to enhance the flavors.
  • Carefully roll the dough tightly from one long side to the other.
  • Pinch the edges of the dough to seal.
  • Place the rolled Stromboli seam-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Drizzle olive oil over the top and brush with the egg wash.

Baking

  • Bake in the oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the crust is golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly, then slice into portions and serve.

Notes

Feel free to mix in vegetables or change the type of cheese to suit your tastes. Store leftovers by wrapping tightly in plastic wrap or aluminum foil. Leftovers last 2-3 days in the refrigerator and up to three months in the freezer.
