Ingredients
  

For the Marinade

  • 500 g chicken breast, cut into cubes Use lean chicken for best results.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Extra virgin is preferable for flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed for best flavor.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Adds depth and aroma.
  • 1 teaspoon cumin For earthy flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon paprika Adds a subtle sweetness.
  • to taste salt and pepper Adjust based on preference.

For Grilling

  • as needed skewers (wooden or metal) Soak wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  • as desired vegetables for grilling (bell peppers, onions, etc.) Choose your favorite vegetables.

Preparation

  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper to create the marinade.
  • Add cubed chicken breast to the bowl and toss until fully coated. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Grilling

  • Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  • Thread the marinated chicken and vegetables onto the skewers, alternating between them.
  • Place skewers on the grill and cook for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
  • Remove from grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Serve with fresh salads, pita bread, or rice. Consider adding yogurt sauce or hummus for dipping. Experiment with different vegetables and spices.
