  • 2 cups marinara sauce Use your favorite brand or homemade.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese For topping the meatballs.

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, and a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter, and place them in a greased baking dish.
  • Pour the marinara sauce over the meatballs, ensuring they are completely covered.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the top.

Cooking

  • Bake the meatballs for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
  • Optionally, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes for a crispy cheese topping.

Serving

  • Let the dish cool for a minute before serving. Garnish with additional parsley if desired.
