  • 2 pieces chicken breasts Boneless, skinless preferred
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced Fresh garlic recommended
  • 4 tablespoons butter Divided
  • 1 cup uncooked rice Any rice variety, preferably long grain
  • 2 cups chicken broth Low sodium recommended
  • 1 cup heavy cream For creaminess
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated Freshly grated for best flavor
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning
  • to taste Fresh parsley, chopped For garnish

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn.
  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet.
  • Cook chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F).
  • Remove chicken from skillet and set aside, reserving juices in the pan.

Cooking

  • Melt remaining 2 tablespoons of butter in the same skillet.
  • Add uncooked rice and stir to coat it with the butter and garlic essence.
  • Pour in chicken broth, bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • After simmering, remove the lid and stir in heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese until creamy and smooth.
  • Slice cooked chicken and arrange on top of creamy rice, garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Serve immediately. Pair with steamed vegetables or a simple salad for a balanced meal. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
