Instructions
 

Cooking the Pasta

  • Cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cooking the Chicken

  • Season the chicken breasts generously with Cajun seasoning on both sides.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and add the seasoned chicken breasts.
  • Cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Remove and let rest before slicing.

Sautéing Vegetables and Making Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add sliced onions and bell peppers, sautéing for about 3-4 minutes until tender.
  • Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring until well combined. Bring to a gentle simmer.
  • Add in the cooked penne pasta and sliced chicken, tossing to coat.

Serving

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve in bowls topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
