  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Enhances flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced Adds warmth.
  • 1 tablespoon green onions, chopped for garnish For color and flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Begin by trimming the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces.
  • Place the chicken pieces in a bowl and sprinkle cornstarch over them, tossing until evenly coated.

Cooking

  • In a large pan or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  • Carefully add the coated chicken pieces to the pan, frying them in batches if necessary.
  • Cook for about 4-5 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, then remove and set aside.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the lemon juice, sugar, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger.
  • Return the fried chicken to the pan and pour the lemon sauce over it, stirring gently.
  • Continue to cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce is heated through and slightly thickened.

Serving

  • Sprinkle chopped green onions over the chicken and serve hot.

Notes

Serve over fluffy white rice, fried rice, or noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds and lemon wedges for extra flavor.
