For the Cake

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 0.5 cups unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies

For the Whipped Cream Frosting

  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 0.5 cups powdered sugar
  • 0.5 cups crushed Oreo cookies for topping

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your sheet cake pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt. Mix well.
  • Add softened butter and cream until light and fluffy.
  • Pour in milk, add eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • Gently fold in crushed Oreo cookies.

Baking

  • Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Allow to cool completely on a wire rack.

Frosting

  • In a separate bowl, whip heavy whipping cream until soft peaks form.
  • Gradually add powdered sugar and whip until stiff peaks form.
  • Spread whipped cream frosting over the cooled cake and sprinkle crushed Oreos on top.

Serving

  • Cut the cake into squares and serve. Pairs well with coffee or milk.

Notes

For best results, measure ingredients accurately and ensure the butter is softened before creaming. Allow the cake to cool completely before frosting.
