Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine sweet corn, cream-style corn, sour cream, shredded cheddar cheese, and melted butter.
  • Add the cornbread mix and optional sugar, mixing thoroughly until well combined.
  • Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish with butter or cooking spray.
  • Pour the corn mixture into the prepared dish, spreading it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake for about 45 minutes, until the top is golden brown and the casserole is set.
  • Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
