For the Crumb Topping

  • 1 cup 1 cup brown sugar Light or dark brown sugar can be used.
  • 1 cup 1 cup pecans, chopped Chopped pecans add texture.
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup flour All-purpose flour.
  • 1/2 cup 1/2 cup butter, melted Unsalted butter recommended.
  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp cinnamon Adds warmth and flavor.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with sugar until smooth.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well blended.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly across the bottom of the pre-made pie crust.

Mix Cranberries

  • In another bowl, mix the fresh cranberries with the brown sugar.
  • Layer the cranberry mixture over the cream cheese filling.

Make the Crumb Topping

  • In a small bowl, mix the chopped pecans, flour, melted butter, and cinnamon to create the crumb topping.
  • Sprinkle the crumb topping generously over the cranberries.

Baking

  • Bake the pie in the oven for 45-50 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the cranberries start to bubble.
