  • 1/2 cup peri-peri sauce Adjust to taste.
  • 2 cups cooked rice Fluffy and warm.

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced Add aroma.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil For sautéing.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season according to preference.

Preparation

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  • Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cooking for 3-4 minutes until the onion turns soft and translucent.
  • Add the diced chicken breast to the pan and brown on all sides for about 6-8 minutes.
  • Pour in the peri-peri sauce and stir to coat the chicken.

Cooking

  • Lower the heat and add heavy cream, gently bringing the mixture to a simmer.
  • Allow it to cook for about 5-7 minutes until slightly thickened. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serving

  • Serve a generous amount of cooked rice on each plate and ladle the creamy peri-peri chicken mixture over it.
  • Garnish with fresh chopped parsley for presentation.

Notes

For variation, add vegetables like bell peppers or use quinoa instead of rice. Adjust spice levels based on preference.
