Preparation

  • Wash and dry the apples thoroughly to remove any dirt or residues.
  • Core the apples and slice them thinly, aiming for about 1/8 inch thick.
  • In a large bowl, toss the apple slices with lemon juice.
  • Sprinkle cinnamon and sugar over the apple slices and toss gently to coat.

Cooking

  • Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • Arrange the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, cooking in batches if necessary.
  • Cook the apple slices for 15-20 minutes, flipping them halfway through to ensure even cooking.
  • Once they reach a crispy texture, remove the chips and let them cool on a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, choose fresh, firm apples and avoid overcrowding the air fryer. Store cooled chips in an airtight container to maintain freshness.
