Ingredients
  

For the Sandwich

  • 4 slices slices of bread (your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons butter or olive oil Spread evenly for crispiness
  • 4 slices slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite) Mix different types for bolder flavor
  • to taste garlic powder or dried herbs for seasoning Optional for added flavor

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Preheat your air fryer to 370°F (190°C).
  • Spread butter or olive oil on one side of each slice of bread.

Cooking

  • Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, in the air fryer basket.
  • Layer two slices of cheese on top of the bread.
  • Top with the remaining slices of bread, buttered side up.
  • Cook in the air fryer for 5 minutes until the bottom is golden brown.
  • Carefully flip the sandwich and cook for another 3-5 minutes until the other side is crispy and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove the grilled cheese from the air fryer and let it cool for a minute.
  • Slice and serve immediately.

Notes

Cut into triangles or quarters for presentation. Pair with dipping sauces like ketchup or mustard.
