  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh herbs Optional, for garnish

Preparation

  • Wash the red potatoes thoroughly, scrubbing off any dirt, and dry them with a clean towel.
  • Cut the potatoes into even-sized cubes, about 1 to 2 inches.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cubed potatoes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Toss well to coat all the potatoes evenly.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.

Cooking

  • Place the seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
  • Cook the potatoes for about 15 to 20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even browning.
  • Check for doneness by piercing a potato with a fork; it should be tender inside and crispy outside.
  • Once cooked to your liking, remove the potatoes from the air fryer and transfer them to a serving dish. Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

For best results, cut the potatoes uniformly and do not skip preheating the air fryer. Feel free to adjust the cooking time based on your preferred crispiness.
