  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika

For the Hot Honey Glaze

  • 1/4 cup honey For sweetness
  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce Adjust to taste for heat
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice For acidity

For Garnish

Preparation

  • Pat chicken breasts dry using paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Set up a dredging station with three dishes: flour in the first, beaten eggs in the second, and panko breadcrumbs mixed with feta cheese and spices in the third.

Coating

  • Coat each chicken breast in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and press into the panko mixture until fully coated.

Cooking

  • Heat about 1/4 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  • Fry chicken breasts for about 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through to 165°F internal temperature.

Making the Glaze

  • In a small saucepan, combine honey, hot sauce, and lemon juice. Warm over low heat until flavors meld.

Serving

  • Transfer cooked chicken to a paper towel-lined plate, drizzle with hot honey glaze, and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
