Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Cajun seasoning Adjust based on spice preference
  • 1 piece onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 piece bell pepper, diced (color of your choice)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 8 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • to serve Parmesan cheese for serving
  • for garnish Fresh parsley

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts at the bottom of your slow cooker.
  • Generously sprinkle the Cajun seasoning over the chicken.
  • Add the diced onion, minced garlic, and diced bell pepper on top of the chicken.

Cooking

  • Pour the chicken broth into the slow cooker, covering the chicken and veggies.
  • Cover and set to low for 6-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Once cooking is complete, shred the chicken inside the slow cooker using two forks.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and cook on low for another 30 minutes.

Pasta Preparation

  • Cook your pasta according to package instructions for al dente.
  • Once drained, add the pasta to the slow cooker and gently mix until coated in the sauce.

Serving

  • Serve in bowls topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and a sprinkle of fresh parsley.

Notes
