  • 1 piece onion, diced

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of the CrockPot.
  • Add the diced onion and minced garlic on top of the chicken.
  • Pour in the chicken broth, and season with salt and pepper.
  • Cover the CrockPot and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
  • Once cooked, shred the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
  • Stir in the cheese tortellini and heavy cream.
  • Cover and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  • Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted.

Serving

  • Ladle generous portions into deep bowls and garnish with fresh parsley.
  • Serve with a crispy side salad or crusty bread.
  • For gatherings, place the CrockPot on the table for a self-serve arrangement.

Notes

Feel free to add extra vegetables such as spinach, carrots, or bell peppers to enhance nutritional value. Allow leftovers to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
