Preparation

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Sear the chicken breasts for 2 to 3 minutes on each side until browned.
  • Transfer the seared chicken breasts to the crockpot in a single layer.
  • In a separate bowl, combine heavy cream, grated parmesan, chopped sun-dried tomatoes, and minced garlic.
  • Season the mixture with Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper, and stir well.
  • Pour the mixture over the chicken in the crockpot, ensuring it's well-coated.

Cooking

  • Cook the chicken in the crockpot on low for 4 to 5 hours or on high for 2 to 3 hours.
  • Check that the chicken is cooked through and tender before serving.

Serving

  • Serve the Crockpot Marry Me Chicken warm over pasta or rice, allowing the creamy sauce to drizzle over the top.
