Preparation

  • Start by heating the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Season your salmon fillets generously with salt and pepper.

Cooking Salmon

  • Once the oil is shimmering, lay the salmon fillets in the skillet and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side until they are cooked through and flake easily with a fork.
  • Remove the cooked salmon from the skillet and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Add the spinach to the skillet, stirring until it wilts down, which should take about 2-3 minutes.
  • Pour in the heavy cream and stir gently to combine it with the spinach and garlic, then gradually add the Parmesan cheese and allow it to simmer until thickened.

Combining

  • Return the cooked salmon fillets to the skillet, spoon the creamy sauce over them, and allow the flavors to meld together for another couple of minutes.

Serving
