Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all the ingredients on your countertop for a smooth cooking process.
  • In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  • Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.

Cooking

  • Add seasoned chicken breasts to the hot skillet and cook undisturbed for 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
  • Flip the chicken and cook for another 5-7 minutes until fully cooked through, reaching an internal temperature of 165°F.
  • Remove the cooked chicken and cover loosely with foil to keep warm.
  • In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Add lemon juice and zest, stirring together, and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, gently coating it with the lemon-garlic sauce.

Serving

  • Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
  • Serve with rice, pasta, or a fresh salad as desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Can be frozen for up to three months. Reheat gently with added moisture.
