  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, pureed

Frosting Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons milk

Preparation

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Grease and flour your cake pan.

Making the Cake

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, vegetable oil, water, and pureed strawberries. Stir until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking doneness with a toothpick.
  • Once baked, remove from the oven and cool in the pan on a wire rack for 30 minutes to 1 hour.

Making the Frosting

  • In another bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.
  • Gradually add powdered sugar and 1-2 tablespoons of milk, beating until fluffy and smooth.

Assembling the Cake

  • Once cooled, frost the cake generously with the strawberry frosting.
  • Top with fresh strawberries for decoration.
  • Slice and serve.
